WHOOP Year in Review
A personalized, data-driven year-in-review experience with generated video.

Context
WHOOP wanted a customized Year-In Review for each of their customers and we made it applying the latest React and AWS technologies.
Project Details
WHOOP landing page is made with React and all backend services provided by AWS Lambda. Since the video sequences are customized for each and every member, we had to make them swappable as React Components. The only way to do this is by using Remotion. Remotion is a very robust library for creating videos from React Components. It was at its early stages by the time we developed the project so we had to work closely with the library maintainers. I guess the only challenge here is to perfect the sequences by the millisecond since the design team envisioned it as is.
