Context:
The goal was to create a light website, no heavy plugins, no heavy editing, just pure JS. We then decided to incorporate React for its core but then went with Preact to lighten the build more.
Project Details:
It was a one-page site built to promote Bustle's campaign: Rule Breakers. This was the first time we used Preact on top of React so we were astonished at how small the build was when we submitted it. Every part of the site is meant to be loud, especially the colors.
